For your consideration, the Remington Rand 1911 A1 "Race Gun" chambered in .45 Auto. Remington Rand manufactured the 1911 A1 from 1943 to 1945. This model was made in 1944 based on the serial number. It is marked US Property, but has been altered which you can see in the photos. The addition of a compensated barrel, skeletonized trigger, flared magwell and side panels. .45 Auto
