Description:

Remington No. 2 Vest Pocket pistol, Nickel Finish, cal: .41 rimfire, with post front sight and notched rear sight. Two line address on top of the 3 inch barrel referencing the manufacturer and patent dates. SN "1602" under the barrel and on the left side of the frame under the grip, both of the smooth walnut grips with pencil-matching serial numbers. Total production of the No. 2 was under 15,000 pistols, ending in 1888.

Condition:

Excellent old re-nickeled finish with sharp cratered lettering on top of barrel, flat planes, now with light sharp edge wear and handling marks. Grips with light revarnish. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Correct manual mechanics.
