Remington Vest Pocket 30 Rimfire Factory Engraved

Description:
Very early production Remington Vest Pocket Pistol (aka Number 1 Saw Handle Derringer) with serial number 235: brass frame, factory engraved, 30 Rimfire, rosewood grips. The barrel blue has turned to a patina, bore has a little pitting in it with strong rifling, grips are serialized to the frame in pencil. This pistol seems to be mechanically sound and all original, which is impressive for an item that is at least 150 years old. This is would be an excellent addition for someone that collects early Remington handguns as it has the desirable brass frame, is in 30 Rimfire, has upgraded rosewood grips, and is factory engraved.
