U.S.A." and "P" on top ahead of the rear sight. The right side of the frame is stamped with the Ordnance Corps cartouche behind the grips, "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" and "M 1911 A1 U.S. ARMY" around the stop hole, over the "NO." style serial number. Holster wear around the raised edges around the muzzle/slide. The left side of the frame is stamped with Frank J. Atwood's inspector mark and "P" around the magazine release. Normal action wear for its age, otherwise in great condition.
