Available for purchase is this original WW2 Remington Rand 1911A1. It is in good condition overall, with a pretty even patina. This pistol has certainly "seen the elephant" in a WW2 battle zone. Bore is very good. It has had some parts replaced, but this would be a very easy fix, as all of the original parts are readily available. To put it back in WW2 configuration, you will need a set of Keyes plastic WW2 grips, a WW2 era thumb safety and trigger. Everything else looks correct to us. Even has a WW2 mag with the R stamp on the toe. We have priced this to reflect these needs. Won't last long at this price- so you better not think twice! You snooze you lose.
