Description: When purchased, Rock River Arms guaranteed this Rock River Arms 1911A1 NM Hardball, .45 ACP, semi-automatic pistol to shoot a two-inch group at 50 yards using 230 grain match ball ammunition. The owner purchased it specifically to qualify for the U.S. Army Distinguished Pistol Badge for pistol shooting through the Civilian Marksmanship Program. He achieved his goal and the gun has been in his safe since. The gun is in 99+ percent condition, overall. The metal is in 99 percent condition. There are a couple of minor marks, mostly due to normal wear. On the very front of the slide, on both sides there are what appears to be a few scratches, with a little additional wear on the right side. Also, there is some scuffing along the bottom of the recoil spring tunnel and the bottom of the trigger guard. The magazines have the normal wear to the finish associated with use. The wood grip panel are in 100 percent condition; there is not a mark on either one. Other than the marks on the metal that I mentioned above, the pistol shows no wear, and there are no blemishes, mars, stains, or other damage anywhere else on the gun. The buyer pays $30 for USPS Priority mail and $39.80 for insurance. Per the USPS, insurance is calculated at $10.35 for the first $600, plus $1.55 for each hundred thereafter, rounded up. The fastest way to get this gun is to pay with USPS (U.S. Postal Service) money orders, as they are like cash. I will ship the revolver immediately upon receipt of a USPS money order and an FFL. It will require three USPS money order to complete this transaction, as USPS money orders are limited to $1,000 each. I will also accept a personal check and other types of money orders, as well as bank checks and cashier's checks.
