The RRA LAR-PPS Pistol employs RRA’s patent-pending Piston Driven System (PDS). Featuring a purpose-designed bolt carrier, an adjustable gas piston, and an over-the-barrel spring and guide rod arrangement, the LAR-PPS is able to completely do away with the traditional recoil system (does not require a buffer tube with a spring on the back of the weapon) associated with standard AR-style firearms, making for an extremely versatile and compact weapon platform. Aluminum Tri-rail handguard and 8\" barrel. Ambidextrous side charger (collapsible side charging levers on right and left sides), and charging levers do not reciprocate.
