This Ruger Security 9 is here as a consignment sale. The owner, who has brought us several high quality, well-maintained firearms says that he purchased this one about 14 months ago. Serial number is 386-65485, which was manufactured in 2023 and matches up with what the owner tells us.
These Security 9 pistols are an inexpensive, reliable compact handgun that can be used for concealed carry, home defense or just plain fun at the range. The picatinny accessory rail underneath the barrel makes attachment of a light or laser quick and easy. There is a manual safety on the left side of the frame for those that prefer that additional feature.
If this pistol has been fired, it certainly hasn’t seen many rounds at all go through it. The grips are Like New and the slide shows only some light storage marks. For a reliable compact name brand handgun, there’s no need to spend a lot of money unless you just want to. This one fills a variety of roles very nicely.

This Ruger Security 9 is here as a consignment sale. The owner, who has brought us several high quality, well-maintained firearms says that he purchased this one about 14 months ago. Serial number is 386-65485, which was manufactured in 2023 and matches up with what the owner tells us.
These Security 9 pistols are an inexpensive, reliable compact handgun that can be used for concealed carry, home defense or just plain fun at the range. The picatinny accessory rail underneath the barrel makes attachment of a light or laser quick and easy. There is a manual safety on the left side of the frame for those that prefer that additional feature.
If this pistol has been fired, it certainly hasn’t seen many rounds at all go through it. The grips are Like New and the slide shows only some light storage marks. For a reliable compact name brand handgun, there’s no need to spend a lot of money unless you just want to. This one fills a variety of roles very nicely.
