This World War II-era German pistol features the original blued finish, fixed sights, black checkered factory Sauer grips with the "S" monogram, manual thumb safety, and Sauer's innovative frame-mounted cocking/decocking lever with a traditional double-action/single-action trigger system. Serial number 355520. The pistol bears wartime German Eagle/C military acceptance and Eagle/N commercial nitro proof markings, consistent with WWII production. The Sauer 38H was one of the most technologically advanced service pistols of its era and influenced the design of later double-action service handguns. 7.65MM (.32 ACP)
