1916 GREAT WAR FRENCH CONTRACT SAVAGE Model 1907 .32 ACP Pistol C&R 7.65x17 Made Circa 1916 for French Forces Fighting WWI
Description: 1916 GREAT WAR FRENCH CONTRACT SAVAGE Model 1907 .32 ACP Pistol C&R 7.65x17 Made Circa 1916 for French Forces Fighting WWI Here we present a Savage Model 1907 Pistol, made circa 1916 in Utica, New York. This one was part of the French contract during the First World War. This particular piece went out in March of 1916 to L’Administration De L’Arsenal De L’Ames, which was the 9th of 18 shipments. This is a nice example of Savage’s top-selling semi-automatic pistol. It features the exposed hammer and an impressive 10-shot magazine. It is a very nice size for self-defense. Corners are nicely melted and the total weight with an empty magazine is only a little over 19 ounces. The hard rubber grips feature the trademark Indian Chief. This one also features a lanyard loop on the heel of the grip, a unique trait to the French contract. The overall condition is fine. Original finish with blue overall and case colors on the trigger. Excellent action. Bright bore. Both grips are in good shape with average wear from use. Sharp markings. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 3-3/4 inches. Caliber: .32 ACP (7.65x17mm Browning) Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL or C&R licensee. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $1100 #226720 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
