Excellent Savage Model 1907 Pistol 32 ACP Mfg 1912 C&R
Description: Serial #71140, .32 ACP, 3 13/16 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Savage Model 1907 pistol manufactured in 1912. Part of the 1907-12 Transitional issues as identified in the Savage Pistols book by Bailey Brower Jr. this gun incorporates the new knurled bottom of the lever magazine release and has the magazine with two catch holes along with other internal changes from earlier versions. In excellent condition the slide and frame retain about 85-90% of the original bright blue which has thinned around the muzzle, high edges and in the grip areas with overall light use marks. The trigger shows muted case-hardened colors. The original hard rubber Savage grips rate about excellent. An excellent example of the 1907 Savage. FFL or C&R SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
