Savage only made a handful of .25 ACP pistols, numbered examples usually in the 1000M-1020M serial range. This pistol, with original finish but devoid of the usual slide address and having no serial number, is likely a transition between the original group and the short run of later pistols with the fine slide serrations. Total production of all .25 caliber pistols is estimated at between 25-40.
