Its defining characteristic is a Double-Action Only (DAO) mechanism without an external manual safety, relying instead on a long, heavy trigger pull to prevent accidental discharges. The grip features an integral "RE-COIL CUSHION" on the backstrap to help absorb the sharp impulse of 9mm rounds in a lightweight frame.
