SCCY Industries has produced the CPX series of pistols for years and has seen great success with the line. The CPX pistols are very affordable and offer features that are attractive to many prospective gun purchases, notably a few combinations of safety features that make many new gun owners feel more secure in their choice of firearm. The SCCY CPX-1 Gen. 3 is a semi-automatic double-action only 9mm subcompact pistol. The gun features a lightweight polymer frame and stainless steel slide, making it weather- and sweat-resistant for carry purposes. The third generation of the CPX pistol has changed the grip texture to be more accommodating for a wider range of shooters, changed the sights to be compatible Glock slim-frame sights, and added an underbarrel picatinny accessory rail for adding laser and light units. The sights on this pistol are white 3-dot sights, which are intuitive for many shooters. The pistol features a 3" barrel, making the pistol a very compact package for discreet carrying. In regard to safety mechanisms, the pistol has a manual thumb lever safety and a double-action trigger. This trigger design is a heavier, longer pull that requires much more deliberate action in order to fire the weapon—making it seem safer those who carry with the gun chambered and with or without the manual safety engaged. This SCCY CPX-1 Gen. 3 is in lightly used condition and includes two 10-round magazines. The pistol is not sold with a case or box. 9mm Luger
