Classic SIG P49 Swiss Military Pistol, All Matching, Complete Rig.

Description:

Attractive, all-matching, SIG P49, in 9mmP, with matte finish, 4.75” barrel, drift adjustable front and rear sight, and serrated slide release. The left side of the slide and frame are proofed and marked with the full serial number that is repeated on the right side of the barrel hood. Safety detentes are marked with an “S” in white and “F” in red. “P” release marked on the front of the trigger guard and discretely applied import marking on base of frame. Disassembly shows a matching hammer assembly with the usual half cock. Fitted with checkered black plastic grips, integral escutcheons, secured with a single transfer screw. Two matte finish magazines. Leather military holster, dated '1955' and leather strap dated '56.'

Condition:

VG original condition with sharp edge wear around muzzle, forward frame, and slight thinning of front strap, as one would expect from a military pistol that has seen light/moderate use. Minimal discoloration around small parts as imaged. Crisp grips. Mirror bright bore. Perfect manual mechanics with both magazines. VG+ tan holster and strap with intact stitching, previous owner's name inked on back. A classic mid production Swiss P49 pistol with holster/strap, perfect for the range or in your collection!
