Striking Swiss SIG, high polish P210-1 police pistol, 9mmP, marked with Canton of Thurgau crest and "Polizei".
Description:
Standard configuration early P210-1, high polish, issued to the Thurgau police, with drift adjustable front and rear sights. Swiss cross-in-shield on rear sight base. Left side of slide and frame with full serial number that is repeated on the exposed barrel hood. Usual white highlighted S (safe) and red highlighted F (fire). Disassembly shows a matching, half cock hammer group. Slide, frame, safety lever, and magazine release are high polish blued with the barrel, hammer, trigger and serrated slide release in the white. Walnut serrated grips secured with a single transverse screw. Unnumbered matte finish magazine.
Condition:
Approximately 98% bright original high polish blue with sharp edge wear as one might expect from a lightly holstered pistol. Comparable condition grips and magazine. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. A great looking and impressively marked early Swiss police pistol.
