The stainless-steel slide and frame come coated with a custom Kryptek® camo pattern that resists both wear and corrosion. A fully adjustable, target-style rear sight and a Tritium fiber optic front sight allow precise shot placement, and aid in shooting under low light conditions. A 5" match-grade barrel obtains optimal velocity, and superb accuracy. The Sig P220 Hunter operates with a single action only (SAO) trigger, with 3 controls: the slide stop, the magazine release and the decocker. Sig semi-automatic pistols have several built-in safety features, including a hammer block and firing pin block that make them suitable for safe carry. The frame features an integral 3-lug Picatinny rail for attaching aftermarket sights and lights. The pistol fieldstrips easily without the use of tools for cleaning and maintenance.
