SIG Sauer P229 as issued to the City Police of Bern, with nitron finished slide, drift adjustable early configuration night sights, spare magazine, repurposed SIG Sauer P228 box. Left side of slide with "SIG SAUER P229" over the "Stadtpolizei/Bern"; nose of slide import marked. Matching serial numbers on the right side of the slide, frame and barrel that is additionally marked with caliber. Major components marked with Swiss BP proofs. Textured grips molded with the P229 (left) and SIG SAUER (right). Primary and spare magazines are both high capacity with zippered spines and staggered indicator holes marked 5, 10, 13, button detachable floorplates. Excellent shipping box.

Condition:

EXC original finish, the slide with virtually no wear. Exposed barrel hood with usual surface wear from cycling. Wear on frame limited to light rub marks on the serrated frontstrap. Comparable condition grip and magazines. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. One of relatively few P229s marked for use by the City Police of Bern in Switzerland.
