Designed by SIG Sauer in Germany, it was originally created as an elite, easily concealable sidearm for European plainclothes police and detectives. Made in W. Germany: Indicates the pistol was manufactured at the J.P. Sauer & Sohn factory in Eckernförde, West Germany, before the fall of the Berlin Wall and German reunification. This P230 SL does have the eagle over N stamp and the code KA meaning this firearm was proof tested in 1990. The metal condition is very good with little to no wear.
