This one comes with night sights which still glow brightly in the dark. The double-action/single-action (DA/SA) nature of the pistol, combined with Sig’s trademark de-cocker, makes the P239 a very safe pistol to operate. According to the marker on the inside of the original grips, this pistol was manufactured in or closer to November of 2002. Mechanically, the pistol is sound. The trigger pull is heavy as with most double action pistols but it is consistent and the trigger break is crisp. The finish exhibits some wear along the edges but overall is in 95 percent condition. The pistol comes with two barrels, both of which exhibit excellent bores. The factory .40-caliber barrel has a worn Nitron finish from use, especially on top of the chamber. This comes from the friction that occurs when the pistol is fired and the action is in the process of cycling. The 9mm barrel is manufactured by EFK Fire Dragon, Inc. It has a standard polished finish. The original grips have been replaced by more comfortable Hogue rubber grips. As stated in the title, this pistol comes with no less than 5 magazines!
