Description: **SOLD** Presented is a Sig Sauer P239 compact pistol in .357 Sig caliber. The SIG Sauer P239 is a semi-automatic pistol designed and manufactured by SIG Sauer—both SIG Sauer GmbH in Germany and SIG Sauer Inc. of New Hampshire, United States. It was produced from 1996 to 2018, and offered in three calibers: 9×19mm Parabellum, .357 SIG and .40 S&W. The P239 became popular in the United States as a concealed carry pistol. This particular example is in very good overall condition exhibiting some handling and use marks but nothing serious. In Clint Emerson's book "100 Deadly Skills" the very first section shows an undercover operator with a Sig P239....it is a pistol that is designed to be run hard. The .357 Sig is based on a necked down 10mm case to gain additional propellant capacity.....resulting in very impressive ballistics. The slide and decocker work very smoothly. This fine Sig P239 would be a solid choice for a concealed carry pistol where allowed by state and local laws.
