Guns International #: 102632766
Seller's Inventory #: "PR68393 (2024-0177)
SN: 6030. Made in 1947, 7.65 Luger with a 4.7"" barrel. Bore is excellent. Has about 95% original finish. The grips are excellent. This pistol was long considered the first production SP 47/8 ever made. Production of SP 47/8's is well documented from serial no. 6030 to 6924, and all prior guns made in the 6000 range were thought to be prototypes. Recently, information has come to light that no. 6029 was actually the first production pistol and it was given to Charles Petter. That might explain the confusion in the records. Comes in a period green box. A very interesting and historical SIG pistol! (CONSIGNMENT)
