Description:
This is a beautiful Sig Sauer P226 Elite Stainless, one of the firm's top-of-the-line P226 Models in 2014 that has since been discontinued.  First introduced in 2007, the P226 Elite Stainless features a DA/SA semi-automatic action, stainless steel construction, a 4.4" inch barrel, a factory short-reset trigger, an ergonomic beavertail grip frame, front and rear cocking serrations, front grip strap checkering, a under-barrel picatinny rail, Siglite factory night sights, a 15 round double-stack magazine, and factory Sig custom-shop wooden grips.  This particular example has been fired maybe a handful of times and remains in like-new and minty condition.  The stainless steel is in superb condition, rating 99% with no scratches, staining, or visible wear.  You have to really inspect the gun very closely to find anything worthy of deducting that 1%.  All of the factory stampings are crisp and clear, and the checkering on the grip strap is still clean and sharp.  The bore in this Sig is in perfect condition, mirror-bright with no visible pitting, erosion, or imperfections of any kind.  The rifling still looks brand new with sharp lands and grooves throughout the barrel.  The beautiful original wood grips are in excellent condition and free from any chips, cracks, repairs, or visible wear.  The textured panels with the Sig Sauer name in them are clean and provide excellent traction.  The mechanics of this pistol are just as pristine as the exterior.  The slide to frame fit is excellent, and the action is smooth and precise.  The slide slams into battery with authority when released.  All of the controls on this pistol are in perfect working order, including the left side-mounted decocking lever.  This Sig Sauer comes complete with everything it shipped from the factory with, the original factory box with an intact end-label, the owner's manual, the factory hang tags/grip wrap, the plastic shipping bag, the Sig factory oil packet, Sig pamphlets, the factory lock, and two 15-round factory magazines.  This Sig Sauer P226 Elite Stainless is really an excellent pistol in every category.  If you have been looking for a classy and top-quality 9mm pistol for your collection this P226 Elite Stainless would be an excellent choice.  Not only should it prove to be an excellent long-term investment, but it would be a great range toy / home defense weapon as well.
