Description: Synopsis: High original condition, Swiss Military P49 Rig, early high polish variation pistol, with updated/mismatched hammer group, spare magazine and holster. Description: Standard configuration single action pistol with 4.75” barrel and drift adjustable front and rear sight. The left side of the slide and frame are proofed and marked with the full serial number that is repeated on the right side of the barrel hood. Safety detents are marked with an “S” in white and “F” in red. “P” release is in front of the trigger guard. Disassembly shows an updated hammer group with half cock #20690. Fitted with serrated walnut grips secured with fire blued screw. Fixed lanyard ring. Complete with two matte magazines and a correct, dated "53" Swiss military holster. No shoulder strap. Condition: Approximately 97-98% original high polish blue, with sharp edge wear, in keeping with a service pistol that has seen relatively light use. Comparable condition grips, and later matte finish magazines, VG+ holster with intact stitching.
