A polymer frame and a black Armornite™-finished stainless steel slide make the Shield M2.0 extremely resistant to the corrosive effects of sweat and humidity when carried close to the body. A rigid, extended stainless steel chassis embedded to the polymer frame reduces flex and torque when firing for improved control. A new aggressive texture keeps your hand in place, and the original M&P 18° grip angle points instinctively to the target. The M2.0™ trigger boasts a light pull with a tactile and audible reset, while the sear deactivation lever allows the weapon to be disassembled without pulling the trigger first. A high grip-to-barrel bore axis reduces muzzle flip to sustain accurate shot placement during rapid fire.
