A leading seller for Smith & Wesson, the M&P Shield series is the company's line of concealed carry-oriented handguns. Offered in a variety of calibers, submodels, and trims, there seems to be a Shield for anyone in the market for self-defense pistol. This M&P9 Shield 2.0 is the next evolution of M&P Shields, with a slightly staggered magazine holding 7 rounds of 9mm Luger in a flush-fit magazine and 8 in the included extended magazine with grip extension. The 2.0 versions of the M&P Shield made slight improvements to the trigger pull and break, as well as reshaping the overall trigger shoe design—as well as changing the grip texture to a more aggressive and grippy pattern. The pistol sports a short 3" barrel which aids in both comfort and concealment when carried inside the waistband. While the Shield series offers models without manual safeties, this unit does include a low-profile thumb safety in addition to its hinged trigger safety. The M&P9 Shield is a single action striker-fired pistol and includes a loaded chamber indicator in the top of the barrel hood and white 3-dot iron sights. This pistol does not feature an underbarrel accessory rail. This pistol in question is in excellent condition and truly appears to have never been fired; paint on the recoil spring is still intact, internals are extremely clean, no powder burns or carbon buildup is present, and the magazines do not appear to be worn. It is most likely this gun has only been test-fired at the factory. Included with the pistol is the factory box, one OEM 7-round magazine, and one OEM 8-round magazine. 9mm Parabellum
