Smith & Wesson model 41, .22 lc target pistol. Made in 1957, the first year of production for the 41 with serial number of 3316! 7” barrel and cocking indicator. This pistol retains all of its original blue with no trigger guard edge wear, no muzzle wear, no grip frame wear and no frame edge wear BUT the bright finish does show, on both sides, some very fine/light scratches so I will rate the metal at 97%. The wood, factory target grips are as nice as the metal with no cracks, no worn diamonds in the checkering and just a touch of finish wear along the front edges. On the bottom of the grips the original owner “personalized: the grips with F A Black on one edge and 1957 on the other edge. FYI: I acquired this pistol from the family of Mr. Black!
The bore in perfect and all mechanics are perfect.
