This Family Collection Listing is a Used, Excellent Condition (appears Like-New) Smith & Wesson .22 Long Rifle Caliber Model 41 with 7-Inch Barrel; Muzzle Brake; Muzzle Protector (plastic, for use in place of brake when it is removed); and Two Original S&W Factory-Marked 10-Round Magazines. Serial Number A796,7XX indicates 1982 year of manufacture (according to Supica). The Ambidextrous Target Grips may be S&W Original, but we are not certain. What looks like the original factory box is included -- but the number on the box does not match any known Model 41 serial numbers -- and may not be a serial number at all. In any case, it's included, along with instructions and cleaning rod. Our non-expert, non-dealer look at this pistol’s condition appears that it was fired, but not much. The Slide and other moving parts show nearly zero wear – making it look like it’s not even ‘broken in’. Condition is best judged from the photos, so please ask any questions or request additional information before purchase as this item will be troublesome and costly to return owing to CA re-registration and other regulations.
