Though the Model 41 may be Smith & Wesson's most famous rimfire automatic pistol, the SW22 Victory offers a more accessible and affordable modern option for shooters looking for a .22 target pistol. The SW22 is chambered in .22 Long Rifle and features a fixed barrel and receiver design with a separate bolt—a common design for many target .22s. This particular pistol is a standard model with 5" threaded bull barrel, picatinny rail with integrated fixed rear sight, and a fixed green fiber optic front sight. The pistol holds 10 cartridges in a standard magazine. This SW22 is made up of a polymer lower section with plastic grips and a matte stainless steel frame/upper and barrel. The SW22 Victory is a very intuitive and user-friendly target pistol, being easily disassembled with two sizes of allen/hex wrenches to separate the upper and lower, the grip panels, and to remove the barrel—which, Smith & Wesson offers other barrel options including fluted or carbon fiber variants. The pistol has a standard pistol magazine release, as opposed to a heel release or lever/paddle, and uses a 1911-style thumb safety lever. This gun also has a magazine disconnect safety. This pistol is an excellent choice for an entry-level rimfire competition pistol, or just a great piece to take to the range for plinking—not to mention a great option for a suppressor host, with its 1/2x28-threaded barrel! This pistol is in excellent condition and appears to have very little use. There are no internal or external defects to speak of and the pistol includes two OEM 10-round magazines.
