Smith & Wesson 1913 .32 ACP caliber pistol. Model 1913 .32 caliber. Serial #229, 32 ACP, 3 ½” barrel with a bright near excellent bore. The metal surfaces of the pistol retain about 98% original bright blue showing some faint high edge wear and scattered handling marks. The only notable signs of wear are a series of tool marks on the right side near the forward pin due to an overzealous removal attempt, and some small dings ate the right edge of the rear sight. The metal-backed smooth walnut grips with silver S&W medallions are stamp-numbered to the gun and remain in excellent to near as-new condition. One original magazine showing some light wear at the rear of the feed lips is included and the pistol seems to function well mechanically. Only 957 of these pistols were made and are an essential addition to any Smith & Wesson collection.
