The Smith & Wesson® M&P® 22 Compact Semi-Auto Pistol is ideal for concealed carry, informal target shooting, or handgun training with inexpensive .22 LR ammo. The M&P 22 Compact is a small scale version the full-size M&P service pistol, and features a single-action, hammer-fired mechanism with an internal hammer and a simple blowback action. A carbon steel barrel provides exceptional accuracy, and the tough polymer and aluminum slide keep weight to a minimum. 3-dot sights allow rapid target acquisition in low light, and the fully adjustable rear sight gives shooter the ability to make precise adjustments for hitting small targets. Aftermarket flashlights and laser sights easily attach to the integral rail on the main frame. An ambidextrous manual safety and a reversible magazine release offer intuitive control and comfort for right- and left-hand shooters, while a magazine safety and internal lock provide an extra measure of safety.
