The M&P9 series of duty pistols has been the premier choice of over 800 Law Enforcement agencies across America since 2008. The pistol features a striker-fired design for ease of use and a consistent trigger pull. Interchangeable backstraps allow for the firearm to be customized to fit a variety of hand shapes and sizes and the accessory rail allows for the mounting of aftermarket accessories. The compact model features a shorter grip and barrel to create a flexible general-purpose platform that can be worn on a duty belt or as a concealed carry option while still retaining a 15-round capacity.

The tactical model features suppressor-height 3-dot sights and comes with a Crimson Trace pistol light. The slide features an optic cut for use with Smith & Wesson‚s C.O.R.E. system of adapter plates. Two 15-round magazines are included.
