The Smith & Wesson® M&P Shield™ EZ™ Semi-Auto Pistol is a semi-auto pistol that's easy to operate by majority of people. When designing the Shield EZ, Smith & Wesson focused on making the slide easy to rack and the magazine easy to load, as well as making the pistol simple, so the majority of people could operate it. A light slide with reduced recoil-spring tension, an easily cocked internal hammer, and rear slide serrations so with ease and minimal strength for loading and clearing the firearm, while the 8-round magazine has a load-assist button for faster reload times and reduced stress on the loader's thumb. The pistol uses a loaded chamber indicator which can be seen or felt, and single-action trigger boasts a consistent pull, with a tactile reset. A black armornite finished stainless steel slide and polymer frame. An 18° grip angle and textured grip allow the shooter to have greater control. Low-profile, 3-dot sights contributes in acquiring rapid sight acquisition, and the rear sight are adjusts for windage. The M&P Shield EZ is easily taken apart without tools.
