S&W Victory Model, .38 Spl. 4in. Barrel,  c.1944,  V 149832

Description:
          This Smith & Wesson Victory model was made in 1944 with a parkerized finish and Smooth Walnut grips. At wars end it was likely in inventory and not needed by the Military. My guess is that it was sold to a civilian distributor who had it polished & blued, the grips were changed to fancy civilian style and the lanyard loop removed. A fancy gun brings more money than an old Army gun. The frame, barrel and cylinder all have matching serial numbers. In addition to the serial number, there is an “8” stamped on the butt. Rack number, police number, who knows? The walnut grips are not numbered and have a cardboard spacer between frame and grip. Perhaps it’s just a white line spacer as was popular in the 1950’s. The bore and chambers are excellent and the action locks tight and functions as new.
          Caliber .38 Special with a 4”  barrel.  Serial Number: V 149832.

SHIPPING: 
Shipments are made via U.S.P.S. Priority Mail, Insured, with Signature required. Packing, Shipping and Insurance cost for this handgun is $40.00.  Checks to be made out, and mailed to:

FIREARMS:
          Modern firearms, post 1898, can only be shipped to a Type 01 Federal Firearms License address.
          C&R firearms, over 50 years old, can be shipped to a Type 03 Federal Firearms License address.
A signed valid license copy will be required for shipment to only the license address.

Your complete satisfaction is assured, see objective above.  If you are not satisfied, please contact me within 3 days of receipt.  Please don’t fire the weapon, safety, function and accuracy are NOT Guaranteed.  Any weapon offered by Beaver Creek Arms is never test fired nor is there any representation that the gun is functional and safe to fire.  These guns are sold for collectors and only represented as used firearms that must be checked by a competent person, observe all the necessary safety precautions prior to attempting to load and fire one of these weapons
RETURNS:
Returns must be made within 3 days of receipt. They must be received in exactly the same condition with no parts exchanged.  If it has been altered, damaged, or fired, a refund will not be made.  Packing, shipping and insurance cost will not be refunded.  All layaway purchases are returnable for merchandise credit only.
 PAYMENT: 
Bank check, Personal check, and Money Orders are preferred. Visa and MasterCard are accepted with a 4% processing fee.
 LAYAWAYS: 
A 20% deposit is required.  Balance is due in 30 days. Deposits are non-refundable and are forfeited after 40 days.  Layaway sales are returnable for merchandise credit only.
SALES TAX: 
Pennsylvania state sales tax is 6% for in-state purchases. The payment of other states sales tax, if applicable, for shipped items is the buyers responsibility.
