SMITH & WESSON MODEL 39 9MM SEMI AUTO PISTOL WITH DEVEL CORPORATION CUSTOM MODIFICATIONS. ALLOY FRAME WITH NICKEL FINISH, SINGLE STACK MAGAZINE, DA/SA ACTION, AND DEVEL MARKED GRIPS. CLEAN OVERALL CONDITION WITH LIGHT WEAR FROM NORMAL USE.

Notes:
This is a Smith & Wesson Model 39 that has received aftermarket customization by Devel Corporation, a well known firearms modification shop active during the 1970s and 1980s. Devel was known for refining existing pistols with carry oriented improvements such as dehorned edges, enhanced ergonomics, cosmetic refinishing, and proprietary grip markings. These were not factory Smith & Wesson models and were produced in limited numbers depending on customer request. Condition shows typical age related wear consistent with careful use.
