Smith & Wesson Model 1913 Semi Auto .35 S&W Automatic Second Year Production, Less than 9000 Made.
Smith & Wesson Model 1913 .35 S&W Auto, often known as a .35 Smith & Wesson Auto. These pistols were made between 1913 and 1921 with a total of 8350 of them manufactured. These are very similar to a Belgian Clement pistol and used a unique type of bullet called a Half Mantle which is jacketed with nickle on the front half and is a larger diameter pure lead bullet at the rear. This is a third type safety with very high condition overall and good function, 1 mag included. The action is extremely clean with well over 90% original blue, marked with 35 S&W Auto CTG on the left side of the barrel and Smith & Wesson with patent dates on the top of the frame. This is the cleanest one of these I have ever had! The interior and bore make me think it may be unfired. The grips have small impressions and the logos are both preseent and clean. There is one mag and the only place of blue loss on the entire pistol is on the exposed portion of this magazine. 017781 RHS $1500.00
