SPRINGFIELD ARMORY OMEGA 10MM 6” LONGSLIDE 1911

Description:
The Springfield Armory Omega is a 1911-A1 style, semi-auto pistol that was manufactured in Geneseo, IL between 1987 and 1990 by Springfield Armory. Interesting pistol that was developed between Springfield and Peters-Stahl of Germany and offered in four calibers.  This one is the 10mm Auto Longslide version featuring Peters-Stahl marked slide w ports for ported 6” barrel with Polygonal rifling in the bore, fixed front and adjustable rear sights.   Features of these single-action, semi-auto pistols include a ported slide, Polygon rifling, a unique lockup system that eliminates the barrel link and bushing, dual extractors, and 9-round magazine. Markings include an omega symbol in front of ‘OMEGA’ on the left side of the slide and ‘SPRINGFIELD ARMORY’ on the right. The right side of the frame is marked ‘SPRINGFIELD ARMORY/GENESEO IL USA’/the serial number. The barrel chamber is marked ‘10mm Auto’. This one comes as pictured with Genuine Elk Horn Stag Grips and Mag Well. The overall condition is Excellent rating a solid 98% finish, and 100% sound mechanically with low round count.
