Reconfigured around a 15-round double-stack magazine, the Prodigy’s compact polymer grip module mounts to its lightweight aluminum frame to reduce weight, while a shortened beavertail and recontoured hammer further downsize the overall footprint. Optics ready with a tritium front sight and Picatinny rail the Prodigy Compact combines the most beloved characteristics of the 1911 with modern capacity for EDC. Users can mount their favorite optics using Springfield‚s Agency Optic System (AOS) adapter plates.

This special package comes equipped with Viridian‚s RFX11 reflex sight. The RFX11 features Viridian‚s signature green dot technology and boasts a 30,000-hour operational life on a single CR2032 battery along with automatic brightness control and motion activation.
