Palmetto State Armory (PSA) is an American firearms manufacturer founded in 2008 in South Carolina.
Over time, PSA expanded from selling magazines and parts to producing complete firearms (ARs, AKs, etc.).
The “GF4" designation in PSA’s AK line is the successor to their GF3 line. The GF4 elevates the performance baseline by using a cold hammer forged, chrome-lined barrel and hammer-forged internal components (bolt, carrier, front trunnion) rather than lower-tier methods.
