Original Star Model B, one of 8000 pistols delivered to the German Military in June 1944, marked with the WaAD20 on right tang, with the correct Star magazine and holster. SN: 249268. Cal: 9mmP. Standard configuration Star Model B. Left side of slide with the usual two line address denoting Star’s location and caliber. Left side of frame with proofing triad including the letter “O” reflecting proofing in 1944. Encircled pistol proof repeated at the rear of the left slide and on exposed chamber that is otherwise marked Cal .08. No import markings. Checkered walnut grips with large diamonds around screws. Magazine with two indicator slots on the right side and a “STAR” marked floorplate secured with two folds. Complete with a unmarked tan holster whose strap is secured with a brass stud, exactly as shown in the reference book Star Firearms on page 342.
Condition:
VG+ original salt blue with holster wear as imaged. Mild discoloration on sides of trigger. Bright color case hardening on hammer. Comparable condition checkered grips and magazine. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. VG holster with scuffing and staining as imaged. Intact stitching showing no repair.
