Standard configuration Star MMS, 1 of 1174 pistols made between 1971-1985, this example completed in 1972. This single action locked breech pistol has a fixed front sight and drift adjustable rear sight. Usual address on left side of slide reflecting manufacturer, location in Spain, and caliber. Triad of Eibar proofs on left side of frame, under grip, with the automatic pistol proof repeated on left slide, behind serrations, and exposed chamber hood. Stock slot marked with assembly number "260". Major components salt blued; case hardened hammer; strawed extractor, trigger with sides polished bright. Checkered brown plastic grips. Unmarked magazine with two indicator slots on right side and detachable floorplate, indicator slot at rear. Complete with correct shoulder stock. Lug numbered "8", with same digits repeated on mating surface of lid and body, secured with original slotted screw. Excellent lockup to pistol with minimal wobble; pistol fits snugly inside stock, lid closing securely. Correct blue-white instruction booklet. Original red/goldenrod box with external scuffs and paper loses as photographed. No extended magazines.

Pistol is nearly new, just the finest sharp edge wear at muzzle and stock slot, from insertion into stock and attachment onto lug. Even the grip screws look untouched. Excellent booklet and VG+ shipping box with a few separations and paper losses as carefully photographed. One of the scarcest and most sought after Star pistols, now reclassified as a C&R, especially nice when still with its original shipping box.
