WWII German police pistol with 5"" barrel. The pistol is marked with a German police ""Eagle L"" Waffenamt. The bore is excellent, shiny with strong rifling. The blue is 99%. The slide is marked ""08"" for conversion to 9mm luger. The Waffenamt on the right side of the frame near the trigger and an ""Eagle N"" which represents an 1939 German proof for acceptance. The serial numbers are matching. The lanyard loop on the bottom of the guns is marked ""SW48."" The right side of the grip is marked ""WN15"" which signifies Austrian military marking for 1915. The grips are perfect. To say this pistol is excellent does not come close to describing it. It is amazing to see this pistol survive the Austrian military, the German military and then the German police in such condition!
