SCARCE 1912 STEYR NAZI REBUILD TO 9 MM LUGER

Description:
This unusual strip clip fed w. w.1 pistol was one of only about 30,000 guns found in Ausrtia's arsenal.
It was standard proceedure for the the German army after occupying a country to arm  heir collaboratorso
This allowed the germans to free up their sold for combat as to free up the german soldiers for combat .
In this instance the gun the guns needed more thn the the usual "Waffenamat" .
This was because the guns were chambered for 9 x23mm instead of 9 x19,
The gun were then sent to Berlin where they were rebarreled and in most cases refinished
They were then issued to the collaborators and the issued to the collaborators.
This gun has reatined at very least abut 98% 0f th e Berlin blued fiinish.
There some very slight pin pricks on the slide near the muzzle .
Plus the some very sight sharp edge silverinng fand signicant patch on the fron t strap from hoster wear.
All parts match and have the proper Waffenamts and "08" slide satmp indicating it has been converted.
The checkered wooden grps are fine showing only the mildest use. No spilts or missing chips.
The bolt face and feed ramps how little if any useand the bore is Lazer bright with razor sharp rifling with not a whisp of frost. 
The scarce beauty would enhance any collection and certainly a head turner at the range
