The HD features updated ergonomics, Staccato‚s new HOST optics mounting system, and an improved recoil system along with an active firing pin block for improved safety and reliability. The new and improved HOST system allows for direct mounting of optics to the slide through the use of spacer plates, allowing for longer mounting screws for a more secure fit to the pistol.

P4.5 series is designed as a duty-purpose pistol and features a lengthened pistol grip and barrel for improved handling. The pistol features a one-piece sight block design that adds non-reciprocating mass to the muzzle to counteract muzzle climb, allowing for faster follow-up shots and reduced felt recoil. This model features an all-black finish with a curved aluminum trigger and standard slide serrations. The Preferred Package includes a tritium front sight provided by Trijicon, a flared aluminum magwell and three 18-round magazines.
