A vintage sometimes unobtainable stainless T/C Encore frame made in NH (not the S&W manufactured frames considered undesirable. The receiver would be stamped into frame if it was) The 50 Alaskan wildcat caliber was created by Harold Johnson of Alaska 1950. This is not a Smith and Wesson 500 its bigger. The S&W 50 cal case alone is overall length is only 1.6". This Alaskan 50 overall length is 2.1" with a slightly larger bullet of .510. Better choices of bullets for penetration not the typical hollow points everyone has on there shelfs trying to sell you. 1" inch diameter bull heavy stainless barrel is 15-7/8" long including American Precision Fat Bastard self timing muzzle brake makes this a breeze to shoot. Factory T/C grip and forend. Trigger pull measures 2.5 lbs. Leupold dual dovetail twist and lock 1” scope medium .77” rings.
