Thompson Center Contender 3 barrel set with Leopold Scope and wooden box
Description: Thompson Center Contender 3 barrel set with Leopold Scope and wooden box This Contender pistol comes as a set with 3 barrels; .22Long rifle w/scope mount & Leopuld scope, ,223 barrel, and 45-70 ported barrel all fittrf in a nicely made wooden box. Coondtion: This Thompson Center Contender has the 22LR,barrel attached to the action. Overall condition of this pistol is very good to excellent and the same is true for the acessory barrels. There is some finish loss near the muzzle of the .22lr barrel and some slight marks on the other barrels as well The wood stock and forarm are in excellent shape and each barrel have two studs to accept the forarm screws. The 22LR barrel has only one stud the other barrels have two studs. The forarm has two holes where the forarm screws pass through and attach to the barrel studs. All metal surfaces are blue and in good condition there is some spot surface rust in a couple of places due to storage but are very minor. The bores on all three barrels are excellent almost mint. The action on both sides show an engraving of a couger. The action and trigger is crisp. Note: In the pictures the pistol is shown with the .22lr barrel installed and the scope mounted. The first barrel pictures (13-15) show the ported 45-70 barrel the second (16-20) show the .223 barrel. This is a three barrel set with a carrying case and Leopold scope and will be sold as a set we will not break up this set.
