Description:
Early high polish Walther PPK with Crown/N acceptance, early WWII, Circa 1939, matching slide and magazine. Standard configuration pistol with fixed front and rear sights, loading indicator. Usual Walther banner followed by manufacturer, model, and caliber on left side of slide. Crown/N proofs on exposed barrel boss and right side of slide. The right side of slide with full SN over "K". The full serial number over "K" appears on the right side of the frame with the last three digits coarsely scribed inside the slide. Original brown mottled grips. Correct Walther magazine with 6 indicator holes, Walther banner on left side, full serial number/1K on spine, and flat detachable base.
Condition:
VG+ with muzzle and slide wear as one might expect from a pistol that has been carried in holster. Small oxidative patch on crest of left forward slide as imaged. No significant thinning of front strap. Comparable condition grips with very shallow warping at top that does not interfere with safety function. Comparable condition magazine. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. A nice, all original, and historically fascinating Walther PPK from the German SS with a matching magazine.
