Walther P38 0 series, 3rd variation Exc. Cond. All Matching except the Mag. Super nice early pistol. This example is the so called Third variation with the later style military style grip panels in lieu of the earlier checked style grips. The grip panels are serialized to this pistol. The pistol is all matching except the magazine which is a double Waa359 mag without serial number. The pictures in my opionion don't do justice to the quality of the original finish on this pistol. I would rate finish to be +90% but looks splotchy in the pictures.  These pistols were the best Walther had to offer in 1940! Estimated procurement of the varient was between 500-2500 guns.
