Super early Walther Olympia 1925 with unusual WALTHER banner marked grip and correct combination screwdriver magazine.

Description:

Standard configuration Walther 1925 Olympia, whose production started with SN 1000 (approximately) with adjustable front and rear sights and 7.5 barrel. Standard Walther markings on sides of slide. Crown/BUG proofing on right side of slide, frame lug and barrel that was also struck with the caliber 5.4mm. Checkered wood grip with Walther banner on shallow thumb rest of left panel. Magazine marked “9” on right side. PROVENANCE: Previously owned and white-highlighted by Warren Buxton who had photographed this pistol for inclusion in his still-unpublished book.

Condition:

Near excellent original high gloss salt blue with sharp edge wear and minor handling as might be expected from careful use. Comparable condition grips and combination magazine. Mirror bright bore. Perfect manual mechanics. An extremely early 1925 Walther Olympia whose features will surely delight any serious Walther collector.
