This ommercial pre-WWII 7.65mm Walther PP is marked ""H.J. Harms"" over ""Bremen"" over ""Beim stein. Kreuz"" on the right side of the slide. H.J. Harms of Bremen is most likely the retailer. We are unable to accurately translate the third line reference to a stone cross. The 3 7/8"" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. There are commercial crown over N proofs on the chamber and below it on the slide. The left side of the slide has the standard Walther PP markings with the Zella-Mehlis address. The gun has approx. 95% bright commercial blue with edge and rear grip strap wear. The checkered black plastic grips with the Walthe banner logo at the top are excellent with very light wear. The gun is equipped with a finger extension Walther magazine. The action functions correctly. Inscribed pistols such as this one are scarce. Don't miss it!
